FanWriter's Art 166 Paint 27

Greetings to everyone. This is the last superhero costume entity consisting of two people that I wish to draw out, since I am quite firm I am getting no more newer ideas for some more tall superheroes. As such, I decided this is the only one who has to wear two parts of a costume instead of just one costume like the previous ones. Dunno if it makes sense, but meh. This one superhero being is special in her, I mean their, own right. Read more in their origin story below.

We have what is the final pair of 15 year olds – Jane and Coral – whereby Coral is under Jane, and the costume design by Jane was such that instead of the usual one-piece costume, Jane wears a long jacket that covers both herself and Coral (and also Jane’s legs which could protrude in any direction below Coral’s shoulders), and Coral wears a long white dress up to her ankles that complements the jacket. And as such, let’s view her origin, the final one of all the costume beings:

“One ... two ... there we go! All done!” Coral slammed her book shut.
“Ah, you’ve finished all your homework.” Jane met her in the cafeteria. “Congrats.”
“But I’m not letting you copy mine.” Jane instantly sulked. “Aw! We’re friends though!”
“It doesn’t mean I have to do everything you say ...” Coral drank her juice.
Several students went past them. “This school is really getting dangerous ... there’s the rumours everywhere ... what if the students and teachers are no longer safe?”
“No way ... these happen at night, right? Why should we care? We’re fine now, are we?”
“Yeah ...” Jane and Coral listened to that brief conversation.

“True, what exactly is all that about anyway? How did these rumours even start to gather around?”
Coral looked at Jane. “Well, from what I heard, it’s a gathering of students actually.”
“What’s that for?” Coral shrugged. “Nobody knows ... it’s what the hearsays are for ...”
“It would be nice if anyone can actually spot one of these ... whatever that’s happening ...” Jane suddenly lightened up. “Hey, maybe I can really be the first to crack this thing up!”
Coral slapped her. “Ow!” “You can’t do that ... what if something happens to you?”
“I ... I don’t know ... but I don’t care! I want to solve this thing by myself, I mean, look, the mood around school has gotten so bad because of the rumours ... I want to at least feel safe in school.”

“At least take me with you.” Coral said much to Jane’s surprise. “Huh?”
“You have this nagging attitude of getting into dangerous places and tight spots ... and that is bad for you, you know. At least, let me prevent those from happening again, like the last 3 times.”
“Alright, alright fine. Come back to school after 6. We’re going on a stakeout!”
Indeed, after 6, the duo were able to enter school and hide in one of the school’s secret corners to prevent anyone from stopping them. “What makes you think you can do this, Jane?”
“Because I’ve got the one thing the school doesn’t have ... spy cameras.” Jane held out a big bag.
“We’re installing these?! And monitoring the place!? Isn’t that illegal!?”
“Not if you don’t get caught! Besides I think this will help my cause greatly. C’mon, let’s install these everywhere, class by class, corridor by corridor. Get ready for a long night, Coral, cause we are officially investigators! Well, except no one else but us knows of it ...”

Unlike all the previous pairs who have attempted to solve this mystery, Jane’s calculated risk paid back. She was able to gather footage of all the costumed beings so far from her surveillance at home. There were altogether a total of 11 beings, and she observed everyone to the last detail.
“This is amazing ...” Coral said upon observing her six weeks of data. “They ARE students after all ...”
“Yeah, and we now know everyone under their big clothes, so we can confront them, and maybe at least form some sort of association, so the school can be safe, and those people may at least maintain their insane hobbies.” Coral was stunned by her declaration.
“What do you mean ... we? Oh no, Jane, no, don’t drag me into this thing. I’m not –”
“Too late. I already made a costume for us.” Jane took out a bag and unveiled a long jacket and a white dress, with a cape, gloves and scarf. “We’re going to interact with them and then stop these rumours for once and for all. For a safer school.”
“You know what, I’m running late so, I’ll just go and see you – AH!” “Oh no you don’t!”

“No! Stop! Ah! No! Argh, why am I under you?!”
Jane made Coral wear the long white dress and carry her on top, while Jane herself donned the black jacket and the attached cape, covered her face with the scarf and donned the gloves as well.
“You’re heavier than me, Coral, so it’s only natural that the lighter person gets to the top.”
“Oh ... are we really serious about this?” Coral whined under her.
“Yes, we are ... and I’m leading the way. I know their patterns, I know who they are, so all I have to do is confront them according to the patterns of them roaming the school, and then we can gather them away, and put them rumours to an end, and yay! I have a safe school!”
“How do we gather them? I don’t know the ways about the school – wow, we look cool ...”
Coral stared at them in the mirror in Jane’s room. “Yeah, I know, right? But don’t worry, Coral. I found this secret room of ... Count Cape’s in the sewers. Wow, it is luxurious. We can use it.”
“I don’t think we should do that ...” Coral protested. “But ... you’re responsible for this.”
“You got that right ... just like those people adopting one name for themselves, ours will be Jacq Longown – don’t ask how or why, I made it randomly. We start tonight!”

In the end, Jacq Longown was able to gather all the others from Marr Leawear in the start right up to the most recent Coppfield Kensi in a secret meeting that had shown everyone to each other. At first, everyone was shocked that there were more people than expected who shared this hobby, but due to Jane’s clever manuevering, everyone introduced themselves, even those who were the ‘legs’.

The unexpected turnout was that everyone gained new friends, and this hobby was practised by everyone until they graduated from high school, whereby college was a major factor preventing even a single individual from indulging in this hobby ever again. The individual friendships were cherished long after the hobby itself ended, and contrary to what Jane had intended to do, the rumours in the schools were long-lived as well.
